Bochum Blend – The English-language Community Evening
Join us for the launch of our exciting series “Bochum Blend” - an initiative to create an English-speaking community in Bochum for a monthly dose of fun and connection. These events, held in English, will offer a diverse range of activities, ensuring there's something for everyone! They will feature a variety of activities such as pub quizzes, movie nights, docu presentations, pottery sessions, and more. Our aim is simple - to build a vibrant community where you can meet new people from around the world, make friends, and engage in meaningful intercultural exchanges. Whether you're a newcomer or a longtime resident, these gatherings provide a platform for everyone to connect beyond language barriers. From Bochum Into The World
We will be offering a new program for young people in Bochum and nearby areas - „From Bochum into the World“. This will provide opportunities to explore mobility and exchange programs worldwide. We'll be visiting schools, partnering with organizations, and hosting sessions on safe and budget-friendly international travel options. Whether it's sending volunteers for the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) voluntary service or participating in youth exchanges, our goal is to offer enriching experiences that unite our world and broaden perspectives. English Theater Bochum (ETB)
We're exploring the concept of establishing an English-speaking theater group right here in Bochum. Our aim is to break free from language barriers and immerse ourselves in the creative and expressive world of theater. Whether you have experience in theater or are just curious and want to give it a try, everyone is welcome! Alongside addressing socio-political issues, we're dedicated to fostering a vibrant community, promoting integration, and, of course, having a blast together.
